The Community Action, Inc. Amesbury Center Food Pantry serves the following Massachusetts cities and towns:
The CAI Amesbury Center Food Pantry got its start in Amesbury through a collaboration of churches in Amesbury and Merrimac who wanted to help families in need put food on the table. Local parishes provide financial support that allows the Center to purchase fresh produce and gift cards for local markets
Food donations are also provided by local civic organizations and our partner agency Project Bread: The Walk for Hunger. Seasonal crops are also available through community garden programs and local farmers. Individuals/Families may visit the food pantry twice each month to receive food assistance. To date, our food comes from: Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, Inc., the Merrimack Valley Food Bank in Lowell, The Lions Club, The Postal Food Drive, Pennies for Poverty and our community.
44A Friend Street, Amesbury, MA
The CAI Amesbury Center works with clients to solve problems and access resources to help the client and the client's family become self-sufficient.
Clients receive information and assistance to access public benefits and resources that will help them become more financially secure. Assistance is also provided to low-income families with budget planning and landlord/tenant concerns.
